Vintage Wall Plaque Sir Felbrygge & Wife 1416 AD Felbrigg Norfolk, England

Sir Simon de Felbrigge (c. 1367–1443) was a prominent medieval knight, a Knight of the King's Chamber, and the standard-bearer for King Richard II. His wife, Margaret, was a Silesian noblewoman and a cousin of Queen Anne of Bohemia. The monument was commissioned upon Margaret's death in 1416. Sir Simon’s death year was famously left blank on the original brass and was never filled in because he was eventually buried elsewhere in Norwich.
