Block three "The child plants an oak tree in the garden." "The Way of the Woodcut" is the third in a series of keepsakes published by the Pratt Adlib Press under the driection of Fritz Eichenberg, Chairman of the Department of Graphic Arts and Illustration, The Art School, Pratt Institute. The book was designed and the type set by Lgal Roodenko and printed by James Lanier at the Press of Lgal Roodenko. The woodcuts, made as a special contribution to this edition by Shiko Munakata, were printed from the original blocks, in an edition of fifteen hundred copies.
