Ruel Durkee Loverin was born on 27 December 1850, in Croydon, NH, the son of  John Caleb Loverin, a direct descendants of George Hall who immigrated to Taunton, Massachusetts in the 1600s, and Harriet Paul. Mrs. Loverin was born Harriet A Fiske on 19 November 1849, in Claremont, NH, her father was Erastus Fiske and her mother was Ann Perry.  They were married on 16 November 1872, in Newport, NH.  Harriet "Hattie" died 19 Dec 1892, in Croydon, NH, at the aged of 43 and Ruel died on 1 July 1918, in Newport, NH, at the age of 67.  They are both buried in North Newport Cemetery, Newport, NH.
