Houghton passed to the Cholmondeley family through marriage, and the 5th Marquess and his wife Sybil began renovating the house in the 1920’s. This process continues with their grandson David 7th Marquess who commissioned this model.

Timothy Richards is a small company, based in the beautiful Georgian City of Bath, England. Tim has been making models of architecture in plaster for 19 years. All of the sculptures are made by hand by Tim and his small, dedicated team. The work is believed to be unique in the world today.

Some of the models are designed to be used as bookends while others as stand alone collectors pieces.
